This role is common in banks, fintech companies, and payment service providers. Experienced Merchant Support Job Description Key responsibilities include:

• Providing expert support to merchants by phone, email, and live chat.
• Troubleshooting complex payment, EFTPOS, and online transaction issues.
• Assisting with merchant onboarding, account setup, and payment gateway configuration.
• Investigating declined transactions, settlement issues, chargebacks, and technical problems.
• Working with technical, fraud, and operations teams to resolve escalated cases.
• Training merchants on payment products and best practices.
• Maintaining accurate customer records and meeting service level agreements (SLAs).
• Supporting junior team members and contributing to process improvements.

Pay: $5,400.00 – $6,700.00 per monthBenefits:
