As a Chef, you will have the ability to prepare and cook a variety of curry dishes from scratch, including preparing the necessary ingredients and the grave. You should also have a knowledge of tandoori dishes including Naan Bread.Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking in the kitchen.
- Develop and implement innovative menu items that reflect current food trends.
- Ensure that all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to.
- Manage kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to enhance their skills.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times.
- Assist in the development of cost-effective menus while maintaining quality.
- Handle any customer feedback or complaints professionally.Requirements
- Proven experience as a Tandoori Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting.
