Job Description:
Three fully funded PhD studentships are available in the laboratory of Professor Padraic Fallon, based in the School of Medicine at Trinity College Dublin (TCD), Ireland. Successful candidates will join a vibrant, multidisciplinary research environment with an internationally collaborative network for translational immunology research. The PhD research projects will focus on dissecting the cellular and molecular mechanisms underpinning immune regulation, particularly in the context of type 1 and type 2 cellular tissue inflammation, allergic disease, and immune cell metabolism. The students will be embedded within the interdisciplinary research facilities of the Trinity Translational Medicine Institute and Trinity Biomedical Sciences Institute. A range of state-of-the-art core facilities is available, including high-parameter flow cytometry, confocal imaging, histopathology, metabolomics, single-cell sequencing, and bioinformatics support.
