Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic professional to take on a hybrid role as a Technical Program Manager (TPM), Scrum Master, and Product Owner for a Databricks-based data platform project. The role involves driving end-to-end delivery, managing Agile ceremonies, and owning the product roadmap while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Delivery Management (TPM):
Drive end-to-end delivery of data engineering and analytics programs on Databricks
Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication
Coordinate across data engineering, analytics, and business teams
Ensure alignment with business goals and delivery milestones
Scrum Master Responsibilities
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, Retrospectives)
Remove impediments and ensure smooth sprint execution
Track sprint progress, velocity, and team performance
Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement
Product Owner Responsibilities
Define and manage the product backlog, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Prioritize features based on business value and stakeholder inputs
Work closely with stakeholders to define roadmap and release plans
Ensure clarity of requirements for the engineering team
Technical & Functional Requirements
Strong understanding of Databricks ecosystem (Delta Lake, Spark, Notebooks, Workflows)
Experience in data engineering, ETL pipelines, and data warehousing concepts
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
Understanding of data governance, security, and performance optimization
Required Skills
Proven experience as TPM / Scrum Master / Product Owner in data projects
Strong knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables
Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
Preferred Skills
Experience in Data Lakehouse architecture
Exposure to BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
Certification in Scrum (CSM / PSM) or Product Ownership (CSPO)
PMP or equivalent program management certification
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
