Senior Oracle Database Administrator

NOW HIRING: Senior Oracle/Cloud/MS SQL DBA | Hybrid | Westlake, TX 🚨 We are actively seeking a Senior Database Administrator to support Fidelity Investments’ high-impact data platform initiatives. This is a hybrid role (3 days onsite/week) based in Westlake, TX, targeting professionals experienced in enterprise-level, cloud-native, and performance-optimized database environments. 📍 Location: Westlake, TX (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) 📄 Type: W2 Only | No C2C 🕒 Experience: 8–10+ Years ✅ Start Date: ASAP 👥 Work Authorization: All accepted (GC, USC, H1B, EAD, OPT/CPT with genuine experience) 🔧 Must-Have Skills (based on role) For Oracle DBA:

• 8+ years with Oracle 12c/19c, Exadata preferred
• Deep expertise in Performance Tuning, GoldenGate Replication, RAC
• Strong scripting/automation in Shell or Python
• Experience with cloud-hosted Oracle (RDS/AWS preferred)
• Tier-0 production support and zero downtime deployments

For SQL Server DBA:

• Strong experience with SQL Server (on-prem + Azure cloud)
• Expertise in SQL Performance Tuning, Clustering, Powershell
• Hands-on with Azure/AWS, Guardium, Goldengate
• Balanced platform + application DBA responsibilities (50/50)

For Cloud DBA:

• Proficient with DynamoDB, Oracle RDS, Aurora PostgreSQL
• Expertise in cloud DB cost optimization, performance, multiregional replication
• Experience managing cloud DB security, scaling, and automation
• Strong collaboration across infra, security, and DevOps teams

🎯 Other Required Skills

• Strong PL/SQL or Transact-SQL development skills
• Linux Shell Scripting (and/or Windows PowerShell)
• CI/CD pipeline integration for DB releases
• 24x7 on-call rotation experience
• Excellent communication, documentation & collaboration abilities
• Prior work in large enterprise or financial environments

🌟 Nice-to-Have

• Experience with MongoDB, NoSQL, Postgres, Aerospike
• Oracle Application DBA (Data Guard, App SQL tuning)
• AWS/Azure certifications
• Exposure to Microsoft Fabric, Terraform, or Kubernetes
