Job Description:
About the Company
This award-winning landscape-led design practice is known for delivering inspiring, thoughtful, and sustainable places across the UK. The team is passionate about the role of landscape in shaping meaningful environments, whether through large-scale infrastructure, urban regeneration, or strategic green infrastructure planning.
With studios located in Birmingham and the South East, the company fosters a collaborative, people-first culture where creativity is nurtured, development is encouraged, and flexible working is the norm. The team blends design flair with technical expertise, delivering work that is as imaginative as it is grounded in environmental and social responsibility.
About the Role
The practice is looking to expand its Birmingham team and is open to applications from talented Landscape Architects at all levels – from recently chartered or junior-level designers to experienced seniors. Opportunities exist across a diverse and exciting project portfolio that includes:
  • Strategic masterplanning
  • Town and city regeneration
  • Infrastructure and transport projects
  • Residential and mixed-use developments
  • Green infrastructure and environmental enhancement

You’ll be involved in all stages of project development – from early concepts and planning through to delivery and implementation – with strong support and mentoring in place. Senior applicants will take on additional leadership responsibilities, including team mentoring, project management, and client liaison.
About You
You’ll be a motivated and collaborative Landscape Architect who brings creativity, critical thinking, and a passion for high-quality design. You will ideally have:
  • A relevant qualification in Landscape Architecture (e.g., MA, MLA, or equivalent)
  • A portfolio demonstrating thoughtful, place-led design across a variety of projects
  • Strong communication skills and a team mindset
  • Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and ideally Revit or GIS
  • For senior roles: experience managing projects, clients, and/or junior team members

Chartered status (CMLI) is desirable for mid/senior roles, but not essential. Above all, the practice is looking for people who care deeply about the role of landscape in creating better places for people and nature.
What’s on Offer
  • City-centre studio in the heart of Birmingham
  • Hybrid working model: 3 days in-studio, 2 days from home
  • Competitive salary with bonus and benefits package
  • Supportive culture with an active mentoring programme and regular one-to-ones
  • Chartership support: paid study leave, mentoring, mock exams, and a chartership bonus
  • Visa sponsorship available for international applicants
  • A team that prioritises well-being, creativity, and professional growth
