Job Overview

• We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of masonry techniques and be proficient in bricklaying. This role involves constructing and repairing structures made of brick, block, and stone, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. DutiesLay bricks, blocks, and stones to construct walls, arches, and other structures.
• Measure and cut materials to ensure precise fitting.
• Mix mortar and other materials as required for various projects.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
• Collaborate with other construction professionals, including carpenters and roofers, to ensure project completion.
• Conduct repairs on existing masonry structures as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

• SkillsProficient in masonry techniques with a strong focus on bricklaying.
• Experience with welding is advantageous.
• Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in construction.
• Ability to work collaboratively with carpenters and other tradespeople.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Plastering: 3 years (preferred)
• Bricklaying: 3 years (preferred)
• Masonry: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• CSCS (preferred)
• Driving Licence (preferred)
