Window & Door Installers/Carpenters/Glaziers

Australian Window Solutions are a continually expanding business, always looking for more talented people to join our ever growing Team. We are Adelaide's largest and market leading supplier of energy efficient uPVC double glazed windows and doors, operating in the residential and new build markets.Due to record order books, we are now seeking an additional four installer positions with carpentry and glazing backgrounds. Experience of installing and/or glazing uPVC, aluminium or timber window and door systems is essential.Working in residential homes and on new build sites, you will be working as part of a Team, installing our products all over the metro area and beyond.Strong carpentry skills are essential for this position and will require a minimum two years experience in the following tasks;

• Studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
• Selecting suitable timbers and materials for finishing
• Removing existing window and door frames
• Fixing new frames into position level and plumb
• Cutting and fitting of finishing trims
• Installing double glazed units into frame apertures
• Adjusting locking mechanisms and hardware fittings

Applicants must be highly motivated, physically fit, hard working, reliable and punctual; have good communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised and to a very high level of attention to detail. Ongoing and unlimited overtime available for those who want to boost earnings.Sponsorship may be available for those who have experience in the in-home residential refurbishment market, applicants with Australian work rights and those based in Australia and New Zealand will be prioritised.Only applicants with the relevant experience will be considered, company vehicle may be provided for the right candidate. Payrates are dependant on experience and hours worked.Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:
