We are looking for a talented and creative designer/artist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong artistic vision, expertise in intangible cultural heritage production, and the ability to translate concepts into engaging visual content. The role requires proficiency in the use of a variety of design tools and a passion for creating innovative artwork that resonates with audiences. As a designer/artist, you will play a key role in elevating our brand image and marketing efforts. Duties

• Create designs that embody the fusion of traditional Asian craftsmanship and Western design principles, aligning with the vision of our independent brand.
• Develop unique pieces, including clothing, jewellery, or other artworks, that reflect the cultural and artistic values of the brand.
• Research and analyse current Eastern and Western fashion trends to inform innovative design concepts.
• Guide and mentor other designers on the platform, sharing knowledge of traditional techniques and their innovative applications.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure designs meet the expectations of UK audience and align with market trends.

Where the job sits on the hierarchy chart: This position is part of the core management team and reports directly to the Company DirectorSalary: £40,500 + incentive/bonus Skill, experience and qualification required:

• Language: Proficiency in English and at least one Asian language (Chinese preferred).
• UK Degree: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Design work: Proven experience in design portfolio in creating designs that embody the fusion of traditional Asian craftsmanship and Western design principles.
• A deep understanding of Asian cultural heritage and techniques
• Proficiency in design software
• Strong creative and artistic skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural team environment.
• Other: Willingness to travel internationally as needed to support the company’s business expansion in European and Asian markets.
