About the roleAs our next
Superannuation Data Consultant, you’ll play a central role in helping Australia’s leading super funds become truly data-driven.You’ll dive into complex datasets, shape them into meaningful models, and surface insights that drive real-world decision-making. You’ll work directly with fund executives and senior team members to meet business needs and regulatory requirements.You will have the opportunity to work across the full data pipeline — from wrangling and modelling data using SQL, to delivering insights through dashboards and visualisation tools — helping build a data-driven culture within client organisationsThis is a rare opportunity to blend your technical chops with big-picture thinking and client impact. Who you areTo succeed in this role, you
must have:
- 3-5 years of experience working at a Tier 1 consulting company, superannuation fund, or [GC1] service provider to the superannuation industry
- Passion for working with data and using data to make a difference
- Advanced Excel modelling skills
- Intermediate to advanced SQL coding skills
- Intermediate to advanced data visualisation skills with packages such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an ability to present highly technical solutions concisely to a wide range of stakeholders with varying levels of technical capability
Ideally, you would also have:
- Understanding of the Australian superannuation landscape and regulations
- Demonstrated passion and empathy to understand and solve customer problems
- Demonstrated advanced logical reasoning, critical thinking and self-troubleshooting skills
- Well-organised, proactive and collaborative
- Excellent time management skills, able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and be considerate of project pre-requisites and dependencies
Ideally, you will have a relevant quantitative Bachelor’s degree and experience working with complex datasets within an outcomes-driven organisation.You might be in a big company right now — one with rules, processes, and layers of sign-off.
