MTC Northwest currently have an opportunity for a Service Advisor to join our team at our DAF & MAN Dealership in Knowsley Liverpool. As a Service Advisor, you will be a vital link between our customers and the service department. Your role will include managing customer enquiries, coordinating vehicle bookings for service/repair and providing updates. The successful applicant will be highly organised and able to multi-task whilst working proactively. Excellent communication skills, impeccable telephone etiquette and the ability to organize a busy email inbox is required. We operate a busy service reception department and so require someone who is able to be self-motivated and can learn a variety of processes. Duties
- Interact with customers to understand their vehicle service needs
- Schedule service appointments and manage the service diary
- Communicate service recommendations to customers clearly - Use dealer management software (POWER) - Raising reservations and job card
- Provide estimates for repairs and maintenance
- Liaise with the workshop to ensure timely completion of work
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Upsell additional services or products where appropriate Essential
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional manner
- Basic mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle maintenance requirements
