Position Description:
The University of Louisville/University of Louisville Health System, in Louisville, Kentucky, is seeking applications for a BC/BE Neurohospitalist. This position will see patients in the both the inpatient and outpatient settings. The incoming physician will be part of the academic interdisciplinary team including neurologists, neurosurgeons and interventional neurologists. Residents are part of the downtown services 24/7. Night and weekend call is expected. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Board certified/board eligible by American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
- Eligible to be state licensed in the United States
- US residency or fellowship training
- Outstanding communication, bedside manner, and professionalism; excellent organizational skills
- A strong work ethic and capability for effective collaboration in the multi-disciplinary care of patients
