Job Description:
- Plan, schedule, and supervise print production operations
- Manage production teams including press operators, bindery staff, and finishing personnel
- Monitor workflow to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met
- Coordinate with sales, design, prepress, and clients regarding job specifications
- Ensure efficient use of materials, equipment, and labor resources
- Troubleshoot production issues and equipment problems
- Implement quality control procedures and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain workplace safety and compliance with industry regulations
- Monitor inventory levels for paper, ink, plates, and consumables
- Prepare production reports and track KPIs such as turnaround time, waste, and efficiency
- Train and mentor staff on equipment operation and best practices
- Manage vendor relationships and equipment servicing schedules
