About the RoleAlfa Plumbing Gas Services Pty Ltd is a growing plumbing business based in Cairns, working across residential and light commercial projects, service and maintenance.We are looking for a trade-qualified plumber who wants stable work, variety, and a clear path forward. This is not a short-term stopgap role. We are building a long-term team.What You’ll Be Doing

• Residential and light commercial plumbing
• Service and maintenance work
• Project-based installations
• Fault finding and repairs
• Customer-facing work with office support

You’ll be trusted to work independently while following clear systems and standards.What We’re Looking For

• Trade-qualified plumber (Australian qualification or recognised overseas equivalent)
• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience preferred
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to work independently
• Current driver’s licence
• Gas fitting licence advantageous but not essential
• Strong English communication skills (essential for customer-facing and team coordination work)

• $45–55 per hour depending on experience
• Company vehicle and uniforms provided
• Full-time position
• Monday–Friday, 7:30am start
• Rotating on-call roster (occasional weekends)
