Job Description:
The Platform Operations Manager owns LiveOps and CRM end to end across the JustPlay ecosystem. This role is responsible for turning product plans and business goals into high quality, measurable execution that drives revenue, LTV, retention and engagement. You will own how events and player communications are planned, executed, measured and improved across the platform. This includes full ownership of LiveOps and CRM calendars, operational standards, tooling effectiveness and performance outcomes. You will lead the CRM and LiveOps execution, act as the main point of accountability for all operational questions and work closely with Product, Engineering, Games and Business teams to ensure the right communication reaches the right users through the right channels at the right time. This is a hands-on manager role with strong ownership expectations. You are expected to solve operational problems directly, enforce execution discipline and continuously improve how LiveOps and CRM operate as a system. Key responsibilities LiveOps Ownership
  • Own the in app LiveOps calendar across games and the platform
  • Plan, prioritize and execute events based on product and engineering rollout plans.
  • Ensure full operational readiness for every event, including configuration, timing, targeting, dependencies and QA.
  • Define and enforce execution rules. If an event runs, the supporting notifications and communications must be in place.
  • Monitor event performance and own LiveOps contribution to OKRs around revenue uplift, LTV, retention and engagement.

CRM Ownership
  • Own CRM as a system across push notifications, in app messages and email.
  • Lead CRM strategy execution in partnership with Product, including lifecycle messaging, feature launches and LiveOps support.
  • Own CRM calendar governance and prioritization across app and games.
  • Ensure CRM execution quality, consistency and reliability across all channels.
  • Own CRM performance outcomes and ensure clear measurement and ROI driven iteration.
  • Balance lifecycle messaging, LiveOps driven communications and ad hoc needs without execution gaps.

People management
  • Manage and develop a small team covering LiveOps and CRM operations.
  • Set clear expectations, enforce execution standards and build a culture of ownership and attention to detail.
  • Lead by example through hands-on involvement where needed.

Tooling, automation and measurement
  • Operate effectively with existing tools including Firebase, Cloud Messaging, Iterable and bespoke experimentation setups.
  • Improve how tools are used by introducing better processes, automation and operational discipline.
  • Propose and drive improvements to internal tooling and workflows in collaboration with Product & Engineering.
  • Independently analyze performance data and draw conclusions without relying on dedicated analyst support.

Cross-functional collaboration
  • Act as the go to operational partner for Product, Engineering, Games and Business teams.
  • Translate product plans and business goals into concrete operational execution.
  • Ensure transparency so stakeholders always know what will run, when, how it will look, who is targeted and which communications will be sent.

What success looks like
  • LiveOps and CRM calendars are transparent, predictable and always up to date.
  • Events and communications ship on time, follow clear rules and do not slip.
  • Event and CRM performance is measured consistently and tied to business impact.
  • Operational issues are discovered, surfaced early and resolved decisively.
  • Teams trust the LiveOps and CRM function to execute reliably and professionally.

Job Requirements
  • Experience managing LiveOps, CRM, or operational roles in gaming, mobile apps, or entertainment.
  • Strong hands-on operational mindset with proven ability to execute at high quality.
  • Experience managing people while remaining deeply involved in execution.
  • Solid understanding of performance metrics such as revenue uplift, LTV, retention and engagement.
  • Comfortable working with data and drawing conclusions independently.
  • Strong collaboration skills across product, engineering and business teams.
