We have an opening for an Experienced General Practitioner to join our team at The Doctors Te Whare Hapara, located in the heart of the beautiful Gisborne area. This diverse city is renowned for excellent surf beaches, world-class chardonnay, an active arts scene and a fantastic climate!

As an experienced medical practitioner you will have sound clinical and service skills enabling you to fully utilise your expertise. The stand out GP will have great communication skills, and the ability to provide healthcare to a full range of people in our community.

We have an opportunity for a dedicated and passionate GP to join our team. As an experienced GP ideally you will be vocationally registered or working toward this. You will be working with a team of skilled nurses and GP colleagues and an experienced administration team, supported by a dedicated Practice Manager.

You will bring to the role:
  • Sound clinical and service skills enabling you to fully utilise your experience
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to provide healthcare to a full range of people in our community
  • Hold a General Registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
  • Be legally eligible to work in New Zealand

This is a permanent position with negotiable hours, preferably between 6-8 sessions per week.
