Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated IT Analyst to join our dynamic IT support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting software and hardware issues, and maintaining network infrastructure. The ideal applicant will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and a solid understanding of various operating systems and network protocols. Responsibilities
  • Provide desktop support and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.
  • Assist with the configuration and maintenance of Microsoft Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and DNS.
  • Support users with operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Manage software troubleshooting, including applications such as Microsoft Office, SCCM, ServiceNow, Jira, and BMC Remedy.
  • Maintain network security through firewall management, VPN configuration, TCP/IP troubleshooting, and LAN/WAN support.
  • Monitor system performance and conduct regular updates to ensure security compliance.
  • Assist in the deployment of computer hardware upgrades and installations.
  • Document technical procedures and support tickets accurately using ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to improve service delivery and implement new solutions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by effectively communicating technical information to non-technical users.

Experience
  • Proven experience in technical support or IT support roles with a focus on desktop support and network administration.
  • Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server environments, Active Directory, SCCM, BMC Remedy, and operating systems such as Windows and macOS.
  • Familiarity with Linux systems and related tools is desirable.
  • Experience managing firewalls, VPNs, TCP protocols, and troubleshooting hardware components.
  • Proficiency in using help desk tools like ServiceNow or Jira for ticket management.
  • Excellent analysis skills with the ability to diagnose complex technical issues efficiently.
