Aquaculture Farm Manager

Title: Aquaculture Farm Manager Occupation: Aquaculture Farmer Salary: $76,515 – $95,000 plus super (depending on experience) Employer: Yarra Valley Caviar Pty Ltd Location: Multiple locations VIC Hours: Full time 38 hours per week Experience Required: min 2 years in a relevant role Visa Sponsorship: Nomination for temporary work visa and/or Permanent Residency will be considered for eligible candidates. Duties: Some of the duties you will be required to perform include · Monitoring of Fish health · Daily feeding and quality checks · Disease management · All logistical aspects of the farm and restocking · Harvesting of Salmon roe · Live transport of fish to market · Hatchery management/maintenance · Supervision of staff · Monitoring of screens, oxygen and temperatures · EPA compliance record keeping Skills required: · Forklift and Backhoe operation · Fish milking, including using anesthetics · Fire arms licence is required · Manufacturing caviar from salmon roe · First aid officer PLEASE NOTE: Only successful candidates will receive a reply.
