Job Summary: Macquarie Group is a global financial services group operating in 31 markets, and they are seeking a Junior Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst to join their Cyber Threat Intelligence team. The role involves partnering with various functions to assist with research and development of threat profiles, detection methodologies, and executive reporting.
Responsibilities: • Partnering with multiple functions in our global Cyber Threat and Incident Response team to assist with research and development of threat profiles, detection methodologies, bespoke threat profiles and executive reporting • Working hand in glove with a range of intelligence vendors to start with • Moving beyond Indicators of Compromises to understand what drives threat actors and their activities on target environments
Qualifications:
Required: • Experience of the Identity Security or broader Cyber Security domain • Highly analytical and strong problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail and proficient in gathering and documenting requirements • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and relationship management skills to influence and negotiate with diverse stakeholders • Adept in engaging, collaborating, and communicating with both technical and non-technical colleagues, across different offices and time zones • Positive attitude and highly self-motivated, with a strong drive to succeed and deliver with high quality.
