Job Summary:
Clarium is seeking an AWS-certified Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer with 10+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing scalable cloud-native infrastructures. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of automating complex workflows, building secure and resilient systems, and enabling high-performing development teams through robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and maintain cloud-native architectures capable of handling millions of daily requests. • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins) to streamline deployments and reduce manual effort. • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and configuration management with Ansible or Chef. • Lead migration initiatives from legacy systems to AWS cloud platforms, ensuring high availability, scalability, and minimal downtime. • Implement container orchestration solutions (Kubernetes, Helm) to accelerate delivery and enhance system resiliency. • Drive operational excellence by establishing monitoring and observability frameworks (Datadog, Splunk, CloudWatch). • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain cloud security posture, ensuring compliance with AWS Well-Architected Framework, SOC 2, and PCI standards. • Mentor junior engineers, promoting knowledge-sharing and a culture of collaboration.
Required Qualification Skills & Experience • 10+ years of progressive experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure. • Proven expertise in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, EBS, Lambda, Systems Manager). • Strong background in IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation) and Configuration Management (Ansible, Chef). • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell). • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/Helm for container orchestration. • Knowledge of observability tools (Datadog, Splunk, CloudWatch) and incident management. • Solid understanding of cloud security, compliance, and auditing frameworks. • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (or higher). • Red Hat Certified System Administrator/Engineer. • Experience with Agile methodologies (Jira, Confluence). • Track record of delivering cost savings and performance improvements through cloud optimization.
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering (or related field).
