Job Description:
Job Title: PeopleSoft Technical Consultant (Financials or SCM Modules) Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid – Onsite 2 Days/Week or Every Other Week for Non-Local) Contract Length: 12 to 15 Months Project Overview:We’re supporting a major PeopleSoft upgrade initiative and are looking for a Technical Consultant to join the team. This role focuses on PeopleSoft Financials or SCM modules, with a particular need for experience in  integration with Hyperion. You’ll contribute directly to an upgrade project using PUM Tools, supporting both functional and technical enhancements. Client is moving from PUM Image 21 - 52.  Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a technical SME on PeopleSoft Financials or SCM modules.
  • Design and develop customizations using PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, etc
  • Collaborate with business users and functional consultants to capture requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Support and troubleshoot issues in existing environments and ensure uptime during upgrade cycles.
  • Participate in the upgrade effort using PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) and related tools.
  • Perform code reviews, testing, documentation, and deployment.
  • Provide ongoing production support as needed.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of PeopleSoft Technical experience.
  • Strong expertise in PeopleSoft Financials or SCM and Multiple Upgrades.
  • Deep understanding of PeopleSoft development tools: PeopleCode, Application Engine, SQR, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker, etc.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.

Location & Schedule:
  • Local Candidates: 2 days/week onsite in Washington, DC
  • Non-Local Candidates: Travel onsite every other week
  • Must be comfortable with a hybrid schedule

Contract Details:
  • Duration: 12–15 months
  • Rate: Competitive based on experience
