The Role:
  • Maintaining and repairing heavy diesel vehicles, including trucks, buses, and mobile plant equipment
  • Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical issues
  • Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance
  • Working in a safety-conscious, team-oriented environment
  • Accurately documenting repairs and maintenance records
  • Contribute to the maintenance and repair of diesel vehicles, ensuring they are in top condition for various industry applications
  • Utilize your expertise to troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical issues, showcasing your problem-solving skills
  • Work within a collaborative team environment, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive continuous improvement

Preferred Requirements:
  • Diesel Mechanics with 3+ years’ experience working on heavy vehicles, mobile plant, or fleet equipment
  • Candidates with a positive skills assessment from Trades Recognition Australia (TRA) or Vetassess (highly regarded)
  • Mechanics with strong hands-on experience and the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain diesel engines and systems
  • Driver's license with the ability to operate and manoeuvre large vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in diesel engine maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach to problem-solving.
