Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and personable individual specialising in braiding to join our vibrant beauty and grooming team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality braiding services, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our salon. • Perform a variety of braid styles, including classic, intricate, and custom designs, ensuring precision and attention to detail
• Consult with clients to understand their desired look and advise on suitable braid styles
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in all work areas and tools
• Manage appointment schedules efficiently, providing excellent customer service from greeting clients at the front desk to post-service follow-up
• Upsell additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, or hair treatments where appropriate
• Mentor junior team members by sharing expertise in braiding techniques and customer service best practices
• Assist with store management tasks as needed, including stock organisation and maintaining an inviting salon environment

Experience

• Proven experience in hairstyling with a focus on braiding techniques; barbering or hairdressing background is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with clients
• Experience in store management or front desk operations is beneficial but not essential
• Knowledge of eyelash extensions, makeup application, and upselling strategies is desirable
• Previous mentoring experience or willingness to guide less experienced staff members is preferred
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
