About the Role:We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Tradesperson to join our dynamic team at our Wakerley, QLD facility. This role is ideal for a qualified electrician with a background in low-voltage switchboard assembly and fit-out.As an Electrical Tradesperson, you will be responsible for assembling and fitting out electrical switchboards, including modular enclosures, busbars, power cabling, and control cabling. You may also be required to perform electrical testing and oversee Apprentices, Trades Assistants, and Labourers to ensure work meets our high-quality standards. What you'll be doing:

• Assembling and installing electrical components in low-voltage switchboards according to technical drawings and specifications.
• Installing modular enclosures, busbars, circuit breakers, power and control cabling, and ensuring accurate and secure fitting.
• Wiring and terminating electrical cables to meet Australian electrical standards.
• Performing electrical testing and troubleshooting to ensure functionality and safety.
• Ensuring compliance with quality control and WHS regulations.
• Monitoring and inspecting work to maintain high standards and resolve issues as required.
• Keeping an organised workspace and completing necessary documentation and reports.
• Providing guidance to Apprentices, Trades Assistants, and Labourers when needed.

What we're looking for:

• Valid Electrical Work Licence (Electrical Fitter and/or Electrical Mechanic).
• Certificate III in Electrical Fitting or equivalent qualification.
• Open manual driver's licence (preferred) and White Card (Construction Induction).
• CPR and LVR certification.
• Minimum two years of experience in electrical switchboard assembly and fit-out.
• In-depth knowledge of electrical industry standards, codes, and regulations, including AS61439.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Willingness to complete site work (day and night shifts).
• Physically capable of manual labour, including standing, crouching, and lifting up to 20 kg.
