Barista (Foreign Worker support through Francophone Mobility)

Overview
On behalf of our client, JP Matters Immigration Consulting is seeking passionate and dedicated Baristas. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service. Your ability to connect with customers and deliver their favorite drinks will contribute significantly to our client's café's success. Duties

• Provide friendly service exceptional service experience to customer, answer questions and make suggestions.
• Operate cash register, follow all cash handling policies and procedures
• Prepare food and beverage items as per standard recipes, portions and format.
• Deliver food and beverages to table as needed.
• Assist in keeping the restaurant safe and clean, (bus, sanitize tables, sweep, mop and performs other duties as assigned)

Skills

• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Experience with POS systems to manage sales transactions efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety practices within the food service industry.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
• Previous experience in food service or the coffee industry is preferred but not required.
• A friendly demeanor with a willingness to help create a positive experience for all guests.

Foreign WorkersThe company will support the selected foreign applicant through the Francophone Mobility LMIA exemption. In order to qualify, you will need to:

• Have prior experience as a barista or similar position
• Be able to prove your French language ability as per IRCC requirements
