OverviewOn behalf of our client, JP Matters Immigration Consulting is seeking passionate and dedicated Baristas. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service. Your ability to connect with customers and deliver their favorite drinks will contribute significantly to our client's café's success.
Duties- Provide friendly service exceptional service experience to customer, answer questions and make suggestions.
- Operate cash register, follow all cash handling policies and procedures
- Prepare food and beverage items as per standard recipes, portions and format.
- Deliver food and beverages to table as needed.
- Assist in keeping the restaurant safe and clean, (bus, sanitize tables, sweep, mop and performs other duties as assigned)
Skills- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
- Experience with POS systems to manage sales transactions efficiently.
- Knowledge of food safety practices within the food service industry.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
- Previous experience in food service or the coffee industry is preferred but not required.
- A friendly demeanor with a willingness to help create a positive experience for all guests.
Foreign WorkersThe company will support the selected foreign applicant through the Francophone Mobility LMIA exemption. In order to qualify, you will need to:
- Have prior experience as a barista or similar position
- Be able to prove your French language ability as per IRCC requirements
