Job Description:
Our client is a global leader in solar energy, partnering with a Queensland-based battery supplier to deliver cutting-edge utility-scale BESS projects. With a strong track record in enhancing energy efficiency and reliability, they play a key role in advancing clean energy solutions worldwide.

Location: Brisbane, Australia (need to relocate to QLD)

Employment Type: Full-time

Compensation

Chinese Speaking Preferred

Attractive salary, project bonuses, and career development opportunities.

Annual package from 150k base + super + bonus

Relocation package subject to negotiation.

Role Summary

The Senior Technical Sales Engineer will spearhead the technical design and deployment of commercial and utility-scale BESS projects, ensuring they meet client requirements and comply with regulatory standards. The role will also involve direct communication with Chinese suppliers to coordinate on product specifications and technical requirements.

  • Project Design and Implementation:
  • Lead the technical design, specification, and deployment of BESS solutions.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and clients to ensure seamless integration of systems.
  • Oversee certification processes for BESS solutions, including residential battery systems for Clean Energy Council approval.
  • Ensure all installations adhere to Australian safety and environmental standards.
  • Collaborate with government and private enterprises to deliver tailored solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise during client meetings and project discussions.
  • Work closely with the GM and other team members to align technical and business objectives.
  • Mentor junior engineers and technical staff.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in BESS design and implementation.
  • Knowledge of Australian energy standards and certification processes.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
