Mechanical Engineer Location: Bethesda, MD Hire Type: Direct Hire (Benefits + $5K Sign-On Bonus, H1B Sponsorship Available) Salary: $115K–$130K Schedule: Hybrid (Remote 2 Days / First Month Onsite for Training)
Job Summary: Seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer who wants to work on diverse and challenging projects. You’ll provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning of mechanical systems for healthcare, science & technology, education, and commercial projects. No two projects are the same—this role offers the opportunity to build a broad and impactful portfolio.
Job Duties:

• Provide engineering design, evaluation, and planning of mechanical systems across multiple market sectors
• Perform Load/Energy calculations using Trace 700, Carrier HAP, or similar programs
• Conduct building surveys and document existing HVAC systems with senior engineers
• Develop system design calculations and equipment selection
• Write/edit project specifications
• Prepare detailed design documents, reports, and studies
• Conduct code compliance research
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure project success
• Provide construction administration services

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 5+ years of experience (healthcare, education, or commercial preferred)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Experience with Trace 700, Carrier HAP, and similar programs
