We're currently looking for a car Yard Sales Assistant to join our team. As an essential part of our business operations, you will be responsible for the organization & maintenance of the yards presentation and vehicle grooming process. If you are on a work visa, support will be provided to the right candidate. 1 Full time 🚗 Customer Service & Sales Support • Greet customers on the yard and assist with initial inquiries • Provide information about vehicle features, pricing, and availability • Support the sales team with test drives and vehicle demonstrations • Help maintain positive relationships with customers throughout the sales process • Responsible to achieve monthly sales target. 🛠️ Vehicle & Yard Maintenance • 'Set Up' & 'Closing' of the yard each day • Ensure all vehicles are clean, well-presented, and correctly displayed • Move and arrange vehicles safely within the yard • Perform basic checks (fuel, battery, tire pressure) • Keep the yard clean, organized, and safe at all times • Manage to get freshly imported cars ready by liaising with compliance and workshop 📋 Inventory & Admin Support • Maintain vehicle inventory, pricing, and lot presentation • Assist with vehicle stock control and yard signage updates • Tag and update vehicle pricing and promotional materials • Help with pre-delivery inspections and documentation as needed • Report vehicle or yard issues to the manager promptly 🤝 Team Collaboration • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision • Work closely with salespeople, detailers, and management • Willing to assist in various tasks to support the wider team • Provide general support wherever needed to ensure smooth operations Employer Questions • How many years' experience do you have as a Car Sales Representative? • Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand? • Do you have a current New Zealand driver's licence? • How much notice are you required to give your current employer?
