Customer Service Assistant to join our Southport team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, creating a positive shopping experience, and being part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet and assist customers with warmth and professionalism.
- Take customer orders in-store and over the phone, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Handle sales transactions and operate the POS system.
- Maintain a clean, well-presented, and well-stocked shop floor.
- Support butchers with packaging, displaying, and preparing products.
- Provide product knowledge and recommendations, including cooking tips and meal ideas.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards.
About You:- A people person – approachable, positive, and friendly.
- Customer service or retail experience preferred (but not essential – we’ll train the right candidate).
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.
- Respectful and understanding of halal practices (training provided).
