Customer Service Assistant

The Role
We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Customer Service Assistant to join our Southport team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, creating a positive shopping experience, and being part of a supportive team. Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers with warmth and professionalism.
• Take customer orders in-store and over the phone, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Handle sales transactions and operate the POS system.
• Maintain a clean, well-presented, and well-stocked shop floor.
• Support butchers with packaging, displaying, and preparing products.
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations, including cooking tips and meal ideas.
• Uphold food safety and hygiene standards.

About You:

• A people person – approachable, positive, and friendly.
• Customer service or retail experience preferred (but not essential – we’ll train the right candidate).
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.
• Respectful and understanding of halal practices (training provided).
