Pre-approved overtime pay.Visa sponsorship & relocation assistance for suitable overseas candidates for this role...............Game DesignersWe seek experienced Game Designers to join the studios development team.

Location: On-site in Henderson, Auckland, New Zealand
*Relocation assistance (for the right candidate if needed)
Full-time position - 40 hours a week
Wages - $60k NZD - $90k NZD gross per annum (depending on experience)

The position includes the following duties:

• Designing gameplay systems, monsters, bosses and items for their ARPG games
• Editing metadata and scripting to implement your designs
• Communicating your designs to artists and programmers to allow them to create what you have designed

We are seeking someone with:

• 3+ years of experience with production, quality assurance or game design work on a commercial online game project OR a bachelor's degree in game development or similar
• High creativity and a keen eye delivering engaging, immersive experiences
• Experience with game editors, scripting and design tools
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Ability to receive and apply feedback in a highly iterative environment
• Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work within a team
• A passion for narrative driven gameplay
• Knowledge of the dark fantasy ARPG games universe
• Familiarity with the fantasy genre in games, movies and literature

Portfolio, and/or reel demonstrating relevant skills required.

Must be willing to complete a test if requested to do so.

Pluses:

• Experience with MMORPGs with a focus on in-game economies
