Position: Cook (Indian Cuisine) - ANZSCO

Location: Hamilton
Rate per hour: $25.00 per hour
Minimum hours per week: 30.00 hrs / week. Qualifications or Experience : NZQF Level 2 or 3 qualification or 2 year of experience in North Indian cuisine / / Indian Snacks & Sweets Key Responsibilities:
- Inspects and selects ingredients for cooking
- Measures, cleans, chops, blends, seasons, heats and cools food
- Monitors food cooking processes to ensure proper cooking and presentation
- Coordinates, supervises and collaborates with kitchen staff in food preparation and cooking
- Cleans and maintains kitchen equipment and utensils
- Monitors and maintains inventory of food supplies and equipment
- Assists in the development of new recipes and menu items
- Prepare and cook a variety of North and South Indian dishes
- Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Follow all safety and hygiene standards
Requirements:
