Role OverviewWe are seeking a talented and highly organised
Photographer / Videographer & Event Manager to join our dynamic creative team. This hybrid role requires a strong visual storytelling ability combined with hands-on experience in planning and managing event logistics. The ideal candidate will have a passion for capturing moments, directing shoots, and ensuring seamless execution of events—from pre-production to final delivery.
Key ResponsibilitiesPhotography & Videography1. Operate and adjust camera settings (aperture, shutter speed, focus, etc.) based on film/digital type, lighting conditions, and creative intent.
2. Utilise specialised photographic and videography techniques to capture compelling visual content.
3. Meet with clients or creative teams to discuss briefs, understand objectives, and plan location and equipment needs.
4. Capture high-quality photos and videos during events, shoots, and promotional activities.
5. Edit, retouch, and enhance images and footage using Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, or similar software.
6. Produce deliverables for both digital and print formats, including promotional videos, reels, and event albums.
7. Manage file storage, backups, and versioning for easy retrieval and post-event access.
8. Deliver final visual content to clients, media partners, or internal teams including designers and marketers.
Event Management9. Coordinate and manage all event logistics including scheduling, vendor coordination, and venue setup.
10. Conduct site visits, secure permits, and manage legal paperwork such as release forms when needed.
11. Liaise with clients, suppliers, and in-house teams to ensure all creative and operational aspects of events are aligned.
12. Oversee on-site execution, ensuring timelines, safety, and quality standards are met.
13. Maintain inventory of photography/videography and event equipment.
14. Ensure events run smoothly and troubleshoot issues in real-time.
Requirements- Proven experience as a professional photographer and/or videographer (portfolio required).
- Strong understanding of camera equipment, lighting techniques, and post-production workflows.
- Experience in planning and managing live events or productions.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with event permits, contracts, and risk management is a plus.
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required by event schedules.
