Start Date: August 2025About the Role:A high-performing public charter school in Memphis, TN, and part of a nationally recognized network, is seeking a High School Math Teacher for the 2025 school year. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator passionate about algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and data analysis to engage students in a rigorous and supportive learning environment. The ideal candidate will create a structured, student-centered classroom that fosters critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement challenging, standards-aligned lesson plans that prepare students for college and career readiness.
• Foster a positive and engaging classroom culture where all students feel encouraged to explore mathematical concepts.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and support all students in achieving mastery.
• Use data-driven instruction to track student progress and tailor lesson plans accordingly.
• Integrate technology, real-world applications, and project-based learning to enhance instruction.
• Build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues to support student success.
• Collaborate with school leadership and fellow educators to continuously improve curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of two years of teaching experience in high school math.
• Certification: Must hold or be eligible for a state teaching license in mathematics.
• Skills:
• Strong belief in the school’s mission and commitment to educational equity.
• Ability to create an engaging and structured classroom environment.
• Experience using data to drive student achievement.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and classroom management skills.
