Steersons is entering a new chapter.Our iconic waterfront steakhouse at King Street Wharf is currently undergoing a significant refurbishment.This is an evolution of a well-known Sydney dining institution, bringing together our heritage with a sharper, more elevated approach to food, service, and atmosphere.Reopening in mid July, we are now building the culinary team who will bring it to life.The Role
As a full-time Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for the Pan or Larder Section - preparing and executing expertly crafted dishes that showcase our commitment to quality and flavour, with an emphasis on steak. This is an exciting opportunity to further develop your skills in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality environment. What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Chef de Partie in a high-quality, fast-paced kitchen.
• Prepare and cook menu items in the pan section in line with recipes and restaurant standards.
• Ensure all ingredients, sauces, and cooking stations are fully prepared and organised prior to service.
• Work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to develop new menu items and refine existing recipes.
• Passion for delivering exceptional food experiences.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workstation in accordance with HACCP standards.
• Strong cooking skills with a good eye for presentation.
• A team-focused approach with excellent time management and multitasking skills.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior kitchen staff.
• Availability for a rotating roster, including weekends, public holidays, and opening and closing shifts.
