We are GROWING! Following our success in delivering the SEE Program in Perth, we are currently seeking a passionate Trainer and Assessor - SEE to join our established and respected organisation. You’ll be part of a well-established employment and training provider delivering services across Perth North.As a Trainer and Assessor: SEE, you will engage and empower community members, existing workers, and unemployed individuals by supporting them to upskill, reskill, secure, and maintain employment or progress to further education and training. You will motivate and guide participants through quality assessment and training in language, literacy, numeracy, digital literacy, and competency-based skills. Additionally, you’ll provide employment-related assistance to help participants achieve their goals.
This role requires adherence to Government contractual requirements and maintaining compliance with the Standards for Registered Training Organisations. Our ideal candidate will have: 
  • Exceptional assessment and training skills, with the ability to incorporate diverse teaching strategies
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide range of learners from varied backgrounds
  • A strong commitment to supporting people in upskilling and participating fully in society and employment
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience delivering training and assessment through online platforms and Learner Management Systems (LMS)
  • The ability to embed digital literacy seamlessly into all training 

What you will bring:
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or equivalent) and a higher qualification in adult education
  • A specialist adult Language Literacy and Numeracy qualification or TESOL qualification
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivery and assessment of foundation skills, using the ACSF or equivalent
  • A specialist adult Language Literacy and Numeracy qualification, or TAESS00009 Address Foundation Skills in Vocational Practice or a higher-level education qualification such as TAE80113 or, Bachelor of Education, Grad Cert or Grad Dip of Education, or higher.
