Job Description:
Worcester Business School is looking to expand its academic teaching and research staff base. The School is a thriving community committed to delivering a mission to transform individuals and organisations to thrive in the 21st Century’ through learning and research in the pursuit of sustainable and ethical business. This is an exciting opportunity for a colleague to join Worcester Business School’s Department of Management and Finance and to help us deliver excellent teaching to support Accounting and Finance undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, with a particular focus on financial accounting and reporting, financial management, business strategy, taxation and computerised bookkeeping. The successful candidate will inspire students and work collegiately to contribute to the School’s aspiration to develop professionals in ethical and sustainable business and enable graduate work readiness. You will need to have appropriate qualifications , contemporary knowledge and professional experience in Accounting. Experience of delivering successful teaching in Higher Education or evidence of high-quality presentation skills and experience of developing professionals is a must. The successful candidate will join our expanding research and knowledge exchange community, and where appropriate demonstrate their ability to contribute to high quality research and/or knowledge exchange activity within the discipline.   • For Lecturer; annual incremental increase up to £42,882, with the opportunity to progress to £46,735 subject to performance and the university reward scheme
  • For Senior Lecturer; annual incremental increase up to £55,755, with the opportunity to progress to £60,907 subject to performance and the university reward scheme
