Regional Controller

🌍 Join INSO as our next Regional Controller role based in The Hague, Netherlands
Are you a finance professional who thrives on making impact? As Regional Controller, you’ll be the strategic partner guiding INSO Country Offices across your region, helping them plan, forecast, and manage resources effectively. In this important role, you’ll work closely with Country and Regional Directors, ensuring strong budget management, donor compliance, and financial insight that drives operational success. You’ll also collaborate across HR, Operations, Grants, and Finance, while shaping global financial systems with our HQ team in The Hague.
What you’ll do:

• Partner with field offices to build annual budgets, forecast cash flow, and track spending.
• Lead donor financial reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
• Strengthen field finance teams through training, audits, and recruitment support.
• Contribute to global initiatives improving financial planning and systems.
• Manage regional/global grants and advise on cross-regional realignments.

What we’re looking for: ✔ 10+ years’ finance experience (3+ years in NGOs) ✔ Strong budgeting, forecasting, and donor reporting skills ✔ Advanced Excel; SUNSYSTEM & Q&A tool experience preferred ✔ Fluent in English & French ✔ Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field (Professional accountancy qualifications a plus!)
