Position Overview Our client is seeking a
manager with
3–5 years of experience in renewable energy—preferably from another IPP or investment bank—to support the company's continued growth in utility-scale and DG solar projects. This role offers significant exposure to a wide variety of transactions and the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative and ambitious team.
Key Responsibilities - Support execution of project finance and M&A transactions for distributed solar and battery storage projects
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders on deal structuring, financial modeling, and due diligence
- Provide backup and support to a second Manager primarily focused on Tax Equity transactions
- Participate in the development and implementation of financing strategies, including debt and equity raises
- Contribute to transaction processes from term sheet to closing
Candidate Profile - Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in renewable energy finance at an IPP or investment bank
- Preferred Background: Strong exposure to utility-scale solar; Tax Equity experience is highly desirable
- Work Authorization: Open to candidates with valid U.S. work authorization, including H1B and TN; OPT and S1 considered on a case-by-case basis
- Location: Must be based in or willing to relocate to New York City (hybrid work model)
