The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides specialized therapy services to improve speech, communication, swallowing, and cognitive-communication abilities for patients across multiple care settings, including skilled nursing facilities, outpatient clinics, and home care. This role involves designing and implementing personalized rehabilitation plans, collaborating with healthcare teams, and educating patients and caregivers to promote independence and enhance quality of life. Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans as necessary, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and strategies for continued success at home.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field (as recognized by ASHA).
• Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure.

Compensation

• Competitive hourly rate: $40.00 – $50.00 per hour.
