Domicillary Care Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to individuals in home care settings. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans are essential for this position. Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care and support to clients in accordance with their individual care plans.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in their condition.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
• Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety during transport.
• Support clients in engaging with community resources and activities to enhance their quality of life.
• Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes as needed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in home care setting is preferred but not essential.
• A valid driving licence .
• Ability to understand and implement care plans effectively.
• Proficient in English, both spoken and written, with strong communication skills.
• Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes.
• A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating reliability and professionalism at all times.

Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £13.00-£15.00 per hourExpected hours: No less than 37.5 per weekBenefits:
