We are expanding and seeking an exceptional Speech Therapist to provide care for our amazing patients.
Speech-language pathologists are highly skilled professionals in the field of communication. They work with patients who have disabilities or have had traumatic experiences that have affected their speech, voice, or swallowing abilities.
Responsibilities: - Assess and diagnose difficulties in speech, language, communication, or swallowing.
- Create and implement effective treatment plans.
- Offer counseling to patients and their families regarding test results and recommended treatment options.
- Educate patients about treatment expectations and goals.
- Accurately document and report on all patient visits.
- Assign tasks to support staff as needed.
- Adhere to state guidelines for communication with staff and external agencies.
- Refer patients to specialized medical professionals such as dentists, psychologists, or other relevant experts.
License or Certification: Must possess a valid SLPA certificate on or before the first day of employment.
Current CPR certification, TB skin test, valid auto insurance, and driver's license are required.
Education, Training and Experience:
Minimum Requirements: Completion of an associate degree or graduation from a Speech-Language Pathology assistant certificate program.
Although preferred, prior experience is not mandatory.
