Overview
We are seeking a skilled Brick Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and be proficient in bricklaying. This role involves working on various construction projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Brick Mason will be responsible for constructing and repairing walls, chimneys, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and other materials. Duties

• Lay bricks, concrete blocks, and other masonry materials according to specifications and blueprints.
• Construct walls, arches, and other structures with precision and attention to detail.
• Perform repairs on existing masonry structures as needed.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete tasks.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and welders, to ensure project success.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following health and safety regulations.
• Measure and cut materials accurately to fit specific dimensions.

Skills

• Proficiency in bricklaying techniques and masonry practices.
• Experience with hand tools such as trowels, chisels, and levels.
• Familiarity with power tools used in construction and masonry work.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
• Good physical fitness to perform manual tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of roofing techniques is advantageous but not essential.
