You’ll play a mission-critical role in building systems that power billions in payments volume annually—while working alongside experienced operators and passionate builders.
What You Will Do
▸ Scope, lead, and execute large-scale technical projects from early-stage MVPs to robust, scalable products ▸ Build and maintain user-facing features, internal tools, backend services, and APIs ▸ Make product and engineering trade-offs that balance performance, UX, and business priorities ▸ Own major technical initiatives end-to-end—design, implementation, testing, and deployment ▸ Collaborate cross-functionally with design, product, and operations to build high-quality experiences ▸ Help scale the architecture to support real-time risk systems and billions in transaction volume ▸ Mentor peers and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive team culture
Ideal Candidate Background
▸ 6–15 years of experience building B2B or B2C SaaS products ▸ Played a key role in early engineering teams (e.g. first 30–50 engineers) at startups that scaled ▸ Strong proficiency in React, Ruby, and Postgres ▸ Demonstrated ability to drive technical decisions and architectural design ▸ Experience shipping products 0 → 1 and scaling them to 10x+ ▸ CS degree from a top university (or equivalent technical foundation) ▸ Clear, steady career progression with good tenures in previous roles
Preferred
▸ Prior experience at high-product-bar companies (e.g. Plaid, Ramp, Square, Chime, Brex, Coinbase, etc.) ▸ Experience in payments, fintech, or logistics-related platforms ▸ Comfortable working directly with customers and using feedback to shape feature development ▸ Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to align stakeholders on technical paths ▸ Passion for elegant code, fast iteration cycles, and learning new technologies
