Holmview Doctors & Skin Cancer Clinic is expanding its footprint across the Brisbane, Logan, and Ipswich regions. We operate a network of four established clinics: Holmview Doctors & Skin Cancer Clinic, Edens Landing Doctors and Skin Cancer Clinic, Rochedale Village Doctors, and Rochedale Doctors and are actively opening new health centers to serve growing communities across South-East Queensland.
We are seeking an experienced Medical Administrator to lead clinical operations across our expanding multi-clinic network and coordinate the establishment of new facilities as we scale our healthcare delivery.
The Role
As Medical Administrator for our multi-clinic network, you will play a pivotal role in managing clinical operations and administrative functions across four existing clinics while driving the strategic expansion of new health centers. You will report to the Managing Director and be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining clinical quality standards, and facilitating growth across the Brisbane, Logan, and Ipswich regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide overall direction and management of clinical services across the multi-clinic network, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maintaining high-quality care standards
- Develop, implement, and monitor clinical procedures, policies, and standards for medical, nursing, allied health, and administrative staff across all facilities
- Coordinate and administer health and welfare programs, ensuring seamless integration of services across multiple clinics and specialist services
- Monitor and evaluate resource allocation, staffing requirements, and budget optimization across the clinic network
- Control administrative operations including budget planning, expense management, payroll, procurement, and report preparation
- Lead the planning and establishment of new clinic locations and health centers, including site selection, staffing, and operational setup
- Liaise with government bodies, funding organizations, and healthcare providers to improve service delivery and coordinate expansion initiatives
- Represent the organization in negotiations, public forums, and seminars to advocate for organizational interests
- Oversee recruitment, training, and supervision of clinical and administrative staff; build and maintain a highly skilled, motivated workforce
- Develop workforce plans to support multi-clinic growth and new facility openings
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality assurance frameworks
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent medical qualification recognized by the Australian Medical Board (e.g., Doctor of Medicine [MD], Bachelor of Medical Studies [BMed])
- Post-qualification experience demonstrating competency in medical administration roles
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of highly relevant experience in clinical operations management, medical administration, or healthcare leadership roles
- Demonstrated experience managing clinical services within healthcare facilities (hospitals, medical centers, or multi-clinic environments)
- Proven track record in policy development, clinical governance, and operational management
- Experience with budget management, financial oversight, and resource allocation in healthcare settings
- Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and supervise medical and administrative staff
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare expansion, new facility setup, or multi-site operations
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and clinical governance frameworks
