Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Pattie lead our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality dishes, maintaining food safety standards, and inspiring creativity within the team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food production and hospitality. Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a positive and productive working environment
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met
  • Manage daily kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining hygiene standards
  • Develop innovative menus in collaboration with management, considering customer preferences and seasonal ingredients
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and health & safety policies
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to develop their skills and promote teamwork
  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Monitor food costs and optimise utilisation of resources to maximise efficiency
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen at all times

Qualifications
  • Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment
  • Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in food production and food safety practices
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, hospitality standards, and serving procedures
  • Excellent skills in food preparation, cooking, and menu development
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of quality
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
