THE POST – REQ000509 - Clinical Skills Facilitator
The university of West of Scotland are recruiting for two Clinical Skills Facilitators to join the School of Health and Life Sciences. As an engaged and enthusiastic member of the Health and Life Sciences Simulation Team, the post holder will introduce innovative techniques into areas of academic delivery with specific attention to development and delivery of clinical skills, simulated activities and interprofessional simulation.
The successful candidate will contribute to the organising and delivery of innovative approaches to simulated learning and clinical skills within pre-registration nurse education and contribute to the development and delivery of simulated learning in our wider healthcare teaching portfolio.

- Educated to degree level (in a discipline relevant to the role) or with equivalent experience in a similar role demonstrated through relevant and practical work experience.
- Experience of planning and organising the activities of self and/or others.
- A familiarity with carrying out demonstration sessions supported by documents and handouts.
- A working knowledge of current health and safety regulations and procedures
