Food & Beverage Server/Attendant positions from 05/1/2026-02/28/2027. This is for full-time, peak load, temporary

employment.

Duties Include

Take orders, inform kitchen of items ordered, serve or deliver food

and beverages to resort guests, present check to guest, clear table or remove tray from guestroom.

Assist with opening and closing of restaurant or food and beverage area, including setting and

clearing tables, stocking service stations with menus, trays, utensils, glassware, napkins,

condiments, and beverage supplies, and ensuring assigned service areas are clean and ready for

service. Set-up, clean, and tear down workstation, including arranging tables and chairs, preparing

service trays or room service carts, wiping and sanitizing tables, counters, and work surfaces,

bussing dishes to designated kitchen areas, disposing of trash, and returning food service items

and equipment to storage using standard cleaning supplies and approved sanitizing products.

Prepare side work, including rolling silverware, refilling condiments, stocking plates, cups,

glassware, napkins, and utensils, organizing service stations, and maintaining cleanliness of

service areas. Follow mandatory safe cleaning and sanitizing procedures using standard food and

beverage service materials, products, tools, and equipment.

Special Requirements

No prior experience or education is required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Workers are subject to drug testing

upon reasonable suspicion, paid by employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and

foreign/H-2B. Workers are subject to pre-employment criminal background checks, paid by

employer and applied equally to all workers, U.S. and foreign/H-2B. Must be able to work a 5-day

schedule, including weekends and holidays. Applicants must complete an employment

application. Employer will provide on-the-job training. This position qualifies as a tipped

occupation under FLSA regulations. A tip credit will be applied in accordance with federal and

state wage laws to meet the required offered wage. The employer will ensure that the combination

of the base hourly wage and tips received equals or exceeds the offered wage for all hours worked.

If at any time the tip credit does not result in total earnings meeting or exceeding the offered wage,

the employer will make up the difference. Conversational English Required. The employer will

provide, at no cost to the worker, transportation between the designated off-site housing and the

worksite for workers who choose to reside in the employer-provided housing.

The pay is from $17.63 to $23.00 per hour with overtime available at $26.45 to $34.50 per hour,

based on hourly rate. Employer may increase wage based on experience, performance, tenure,

and/or market conditions. An overtime premium will be paid when required by Federal, State, or

local law, including at time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek.

The Work Schedule Is As Follows

35 hours per week from Saturday to Friday: Various 8-hours shifts (ranging from 7am to

3pm, 12pm to 8pm, 3pm to 11pm, 4pm to 12am, 5pm to 1am, or 9pm to 5am). Workdays and shift

times may vary with occupancy and events. Job opportunity is a temporary, full-time position. The

requested temporary workers will be based at 310 Mount Washington Hotel Road, Bretton Woods,

NH 03575.

Single workweek will be used in computing wages due. Pay period is Weekly. Employers will

make all deductions from workers' paychecks, which are required by law. Optional employeeshared offsite housing available, including utilities and deposit, at a rate of approximately $125.00-

$165.00perweek, depending on the housing unit. Weekly rates include a $10/week security deposit

that participants get back if the room is left in good condition upon departure. Subject to housing

damage, deposit refunded within 1-month of move out. Cost of housing & deposit payroll deducted

if worker elects. Uniform provided at no cost to employee. If employee elects to live in employerbased housing, use of the employee cafeteria is included for all meals at no cost. Transportation,

including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging, to the place of employment will be provided,

or its cost to workers reimbursed by a company check, separate from the payroll check, if the

worker completes half of the employment period. If the worker completes 50% of the work

contract period, employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence from the

place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the

worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return

transportation and subsistence back to home or to the place the worker originally departed to work,

except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer.

The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economically

and reasonable common carrier for the distance involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a

rate of $16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 per day with receipts. Reimbursement

in the first work week for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including

those mandated by the government, incurred by the H-2B worker (but not included passport

expenses or other charges primarily for the benefit of the worker). The employer will provide

worker, at no charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job and on the job

training in the proper use of tools and equipment. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours

equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment

period only to the extent that this guarantee is enforced by the Department of Labor. As of the date

of this posting, the three-fourths guarantee is not enforced, but this is subject to change.
