We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of sandwiches and ensuring that all food safety standards are met. You will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment. • Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu guidelines.
• Ensure all food safety practices are adhered to, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation of ingredients.
• Maintain an organised workstation, keeping all utensils and equipment clean and ready for use.
• Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations and upselling additional items when appropriate.
• Manage time effectively to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and high-quality food production.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to management.

Experience

• Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
• Familiarity with food safety regulations and practices is advantageous.
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and measuring ingredients accurately.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
• A culinary background or interest in food preparation will be beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
