Business Development Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead growth initiatives for our recruitment company, specializing in labor hire, permanent placements, and tailored workforce solutions. This role involves identifying and securing new business opportunities across various industries, with a focus on supporting both local residents and migrant workers, including those navigating immigration processes. Key Responsibilities: * Identify and develop new client relationships in key sectors requiring labor hire and permanent staff. * Promote the company’s recruitment and immigration support services to employers and industry partners. * Collaborate with the recruitment and migration teams to align client needs with candidate solutions. * Prepare and present tailored workforce proposals to prospective clients. * Maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term partnerships and repeat business. * Stay informed on labor market trends, immigration policy updates, and compliance requirements. Requirements: * Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally in recruitment, labor hire, or workforce solutions. * Strong understanding of New Zealand employment and immigration frameworks. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. * Ability to work across culturally diverse communities and with a wide range of stakeholders. * You must have valid work rights in New Zealand -- NZ Resident, Citizen or Open-Work Visa -- to be considered for this position.
