Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Project Manager to oversee and deliver complex projects within our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects efficiently while ensuring all objectives are met on time and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in project management tools and software. The ideal applicant will have a solid background in civil engineering or construction-related projects, with experience in programme scheduling and resource management. Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budgets.
  • Utilise Primavera P6 to create detailed project schedules and track progress against milestones.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution from inception to completion.
  • Manage project risks and issues proactively, implementing mitigation strategies as necessary.
  • Oversee the utilisation of Civil 3D for design coordination and technical documentation.
  • Monitor project performance through regular reporting and stakeholder updates.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout all project phases.
  • Lead meetings with clients, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate clear communication and alignment of objectives.
  • Manage changes to project scope or schedule efficiently while maintaining quality standards.

Experience
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering or construction sectors.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in Primavera P6 for programme scheduling and resource management.
  • Experience using Civil 3D for design development or technical documentation is highly desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent time management capabilities to prioritise multiple tasks effectively.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams whilst maintaining a focus on project deliverables.
  • Previous experience managing large-scale projects from initiation through to delivery is preferred.
